Next Performance: Friday, March 29, Oak Ridge, TN

Commencement Concert, 2014

At this concert, the Fisk Jubilee Singers presented “A Portrait Comes to Life.” It represents a re-enactment of the portrait that was commissioned by Queen Victoria and hangs in Jubilee Hall. The portrait was created to mark the occasion of the second band of Singers who traveled to Europe and sang before Kings and Queens.

Members of the Fisk Jubilee Singers’ Alumni Association were honored and invited to join the current ensemble. Together they sang “The Gold and Blue.”
